Maweni in Kiswahili means “the place of the rocks” and Maweni Beach is sheltered by rocky outcrops at either end of its 1.5kms of pristine white sand. Situated just North of the well-known Bofa Beach at Kilifi, the beach is shared by only three houses and has no hotels or beach boys (and the like! So it is very private.
