Morning sipper: green smoothie with (spinach, banana, apple, a few chunks of frozen fruit, flax seed and vanilla soymilk). Lunch: Chicken Fajita Soup; saltines. Dinner: homemade chicken nachos with cheese, tomatoes, refried (fatfree) beans, onions, peppers, garlic and black olives! Exercise: yoga (90 minutes). May 15th, 2009. Thank you, Doctor. Not only have I been given the green light to resume running, I have actually had it given to me in prescription form as a combatant to the lingering baby blues. I wonder if I can somehow apply my insurance/co-pay to that new pair of shoes I tried on the other day? Things that are making me happy right now. 1 My daughter has been napping in her crib for 40 whole minutes. I love this. 4 The weather is starting to get a teeny bit cooler. Look at what I'm doing. I always tell people the best way to start running is to sign up for a race, then tell everyone you know (and even some total strangers) about it. You will either train for and triumph in the event (any finish is a triumph - time don't matter none) OR you will FAIL and be forever shamed in the eyes of everyone you know (and even some total strangers). So now I will tell you all, strangers and friends alike, I've signed up for The Bear. The second thing was a blog post. Love me....
