Confessions of a buttonholic: Button Workshop Feb 5th
http://confessionsofabuttonholic-tamsyn.blogspot.com/2010/02/button-workshop-feb-5th.html
Sunday, 7 February 2010. Button Workshop Feb 5th. Above is the necklace I made yesterday, started during the button workshop and finished in the calm of the afternoon.after all the other buttonholics. The Dorset buttons from the previous workshop became gorgeous necklaces with a little bit of freeform. It was great to have an afternoon of finishing things off. The button workshop was a great success! There is something about searching through the buttons that switches us back into child mode. Julie did a...

Confessions of a buttonholic: Confession 2
http://confessionsofabuttonholic-tamsyn.blogspot.com/2009/06/confession-2.html
Monday, 1 June 2009. I managed to find some packets of buttons in one of our local charity shops :) and also a lovely tin of buttons on e-bay whoops! I seriously needed some button therapy on Saturday.woke up all tearful and v tired, I had actually had a bit of a grumpy week. (Suffering from pmt) Which is not good when working with the general public ;0. Then I remembered the two jars of buttons I'd been saving, so we added those to the pile too. That cheered me up lots! 1 June 2009 at 08:16. We used to ...

SewToBed: November 2009
http://sewtobed.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, 12 November 2009. This is installment number 2 on the October Swap round-up. Was an opportunity to think small. The mats were to be pieced, quilted and bound as usual, but to be roughly 13" x 17" in size. And as it turned out we both have 2 kids (one of each colour) we decided to make them one each! I struggled for ages trying to decide what sort of patterns to use. For Anna's toddler son I settled on an I-Spy design inspired by. Cindy Carter's Scrappy Split Rail. S tutorial for guidance. The s...

SewToBed: Juneathon 2015 - Day 1
http://sewtobed.blogspot.com/2015/06/juneathon-2015-day-1.html
Thursday, 4 June 2015. Juneathon 2015 - Day 1. I can't quite believe that it's been a year since I last tried to combine a month of blogging with a month of exercise - time flies when you are having fun - but once again I have signed up to give Juneathon. Not much has changed over the last 12 months. I may be a few pounds lighter and a bit fitter, but these are both areas that are "works in progress" and will remain so for a few years yet - if not indefinitely! And the second is a 10k run. I've sewn ever...

SewToBed: Juneathon Day 23
http://sewtobed.blogspot.com/2014/06/juneathon-day-23.html
Wednesday, 25 June 2014. Monday is normally the day that I "blitz" the house after the ravages that it gets put through over the weekend, but apart from washing a load of towels, I must confess the Housework Fairy was rather lazy today! Miss H's swim coach was there and she commented that maybe she should join me in the pool next week. I hope she was joking as I only swim 1 stroke at 1 pace and that's not very fast! Juneathon Running Total = 68.8k. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Juneathon Day 14 - R...

https://gigglinggoblin.wordpress.com/2010/06/27/first-attempt-at-dying-yarn
Just another WordPress.com weblog. First attempt at dying yarn! Using koolaid and some help from knitty. I love the colours but cant imagine what I am going to do with the yarn now, I rarely wear anything colourful or pastel so am thinking of adding it to the shop or using it as swaps or gifts.
