We got married 21 years ago today. If the marriage was a person, it would now be of legal drinking age. My wife was 21 when we got married, so she has been married for half of her life now! The girls each made a paper chain to hang in their bedrooms. At the end of each day, they cut a link from the chain. When it gets to the end, we leave for vacation. They are pretty excited. I work across from a retail center known as Irvine Spectrum Center. It is nice having this center across the street from work. He has reached that age where birthdays are not the big deal that they were when you were a kid. We had a good blow-out party for his 18th birthday. For his 19th birthday we had a family get together (including grandmas and aunts) for a nice dinner out, but it was otherwise quiet. Tuesday, November 07, 2006.
