Memorial weekend we decided to go to St. George. Brandon and I were so sick of the cold that we decided last minute to head down south where it would be a little warmer. It was a quick trip, but fun. We went to Brandon's aunts pool, played at the park and went on a little hike. Reagan thought it was pretty cool riding on daddy. Playing at the park.

Monday, January 23, 2012. I just made Aliah's spotlight poster for Kindergarten. She thought it was awesome to feel so special and have me come in and brag about her in front of all of her friends. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Do you take pictures of yourself? I don't. Ever. It just doesn't ever cross my mind to hold out the camera and snap, unless someone else is in the picture with me. But some people asked to see my birthday haircut, and Spencer's shots looked funny to me. Something about the angle. Because he's so much taller than me, maybe? Anyway, I took matters into my own hands. But I just couldn't get it right. Maybe I wasn't taking it seriously enough. Oh there we go. That was hard work!

I think it was a tender mercy from Jesus that when he created the earth he made the lilacs bloom just in time for us to take a big bundle with us when we visit my mom every May 17th. This year I didn't do much for Brandon's Birthday since we had just gotten back from Boston the day before. I did make him some cupcakes. They were not very pretty but at least they were good!
