The Maxwell Fire Department is a community based group of volunteers, trained and equipped to provide professional, prompt, quality fire coverage to the community of Maxwell and surrounding areas. Story County Farm Bureau donated a Grain Rescue Tube to the Maxwell Fire Dept on October 21, 2013. The firefighters were very thankful for this donation- it will be used for grain bin rescue training, as well as emergency rescues from grain bins.
