A new incarnation: February 2009
http://notesfromalongjourney.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 06, 2009. The way we are. Is it just me? Or does everyone do this? I've decided it's because I'm too nice (or maybe it's because I'm sort of like Sybil! Addendum: Now, is this the same as being condescending? Things that lie in the recesses of my mind. One of my all-time favorite poems. Which a friend of mine scribbled on a letter to me two decades ago - I'm not sure in what context then, but now it seems like she was prescient. What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up.

Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Thought for the day. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. And a couple of great interpretations of the meaning of this proverb. Http:/ www.answerbag.com/q view/82392. From AntigoneRising and StableBoy. Tuesday, March 10, 2009. The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly." - from Illusions. Friday, March 06, 2009. They must be dressed snappily under there!

A new incarnation: November 2008
http://notesfromalongjourney.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. On first name terms. So I took the train to Hyderabad after all and it was alright, though I think I’ll use the train only for shorter distances from now on. It would have been better if there had been fewer roaches crawling around. I’m sure this isn't. The norm in the more expensive air conditioned compartments, but this wasn't. 8217; I thought to myself, I could care less what anyone else thought, but I could tell him a bit of what I was thinking. Safe, he’d seen so m...

A new incarnation: On Thanksgiving - and dreams
http://notesfromalongjourney.blogspot.com/2009/11/on-thanksgiving-and-dreams.html
Friday, November 27, 2009. On Thanksgiving - and dreams. What a great Thanksgiving. It's usually miserable if one is alone in this country during the holidays and blue at the same time. That's not a good recipe for giving thanks. But this time I chose to be alone - mostly because today is no different for me from any other day these last couple of months - almost 3, actually, since I've been back here. I guess I could have gone somewhere. So I tried to analyze the dream. What did it mean?

A new incarnation: August 2009

Tuesday, August 18, 2009. The sounds of silence. But then I started thinking that perhaps this was the manic side of bipolar disorder, and that that's what I'd had all my life (except that the manic side had never reared its head before) :-). But it wasn't really manic - it was just calm and peace and really a feling. Again (I had lost both the desire and the tools (my David Naegele. Session. And since more than a couple of people wanted to know what it was like - here's the lowdown on it:. Day 2: Even t...
