After another great night at Black Rock Lodge we headed out to the active archaeological site Xunantunich. It was at this site that I really began to work with Cacao, understanding it and integrating with it. Taking a few nibs and rolling them around in my mouth, releasing the flavor, releasing the aroma, releasing the spirit in to me. One pyramid excavated and one stelae restored, one to go.

Mayan Cosmology - from the journals of Christopher. Friday, July 15, 2016. Zip Lining at Bocawina in transit to Orange Walk. We had breakfast and kicked back for a bit on the deck. Scott did a great job of cleaning up after the fire ceremony, in fact it looked like it never happened. They hooked up the trailer and we were on our way. We were on Belize time so our 8am departure was closer to 8:30 8:45. While not as long and fast as Whistler's course the tunneling effect of the jungle made for a great ride.
