Coming out of a fairly busy holiday season, i'm quite glad to have things going back to some semblance of normal. we had a great time with friends and family, visiting and enjoying each other's company. Wednesday, August 05, 2009. So we went for a break this past weekend to great falls, montana. it was so nice to just get away from the disasterous mess our house is in. But its all getting better. We left the painter to do his thing on friday. and we returned to a totally new house! The painter we had in was just a hoot. he's probably in his early 50's, and serenaded us with christmas carols all day. the funniest part was that he really didn't know the words to any of them. Just popping in to say hello!

Saturday, January 30, 2010. Reunion and weekend plans. So there was a bit of chit chat by a few people that i have on my facebook about a 20 year reunion. Now, after a bit of back and forth, we have a venue (i hope - still need to get ahold of the fellow - he owns a lounge that looks pretty poshy, went to school with him since elementary! Its been a fairly busy christmas season for us, and i'm not too sad to be heading back into the routine of everyday life once more. the kids are back to school on monday, and i'll return to a much more normal work life as well. My dear friend's brother passed away tragically in mid-april. trying to be there for her as much as i can. her mom is also devastated, as well as his long time girlfriend. just sad. Got in late last night, and woke up to a very grey day. snowing out now, and while dh and i were out picking up the dogs from the kennel, i told him that it was time for the daily nap on the beach. Friday, January 30, 2009. Ahhhhhhhh hotel. this was our tiny deck off our room, overlooking the pool, snack bar and a somewhat ocean view. we could hear the waves crashing on the beach at night, and i had a hard time getting to sleep at night when we got home - it was too quiet! Saturday, September 30, 2006. Did a photo shoot for me 2 weeks ago. It was AWESOME - not just having her take amazing photos but hanging out together. I love those times so much!
