Open up your image on the gimp program. Select the cropping tool. Now that you have selected the cropping tool use it to select the area of the picture you would like to remain. Start by opening up your image on the gimp program. Once you've done this, zoom right into the red eyes you are looking to fix. Next, use the circular selection tool to select the red part of the eye. Click on colors and then select hue-saturation. You will now need to turn the saturation of the eye down so that the red will disappear. You can play with the color of the eye if you would like.
