Wednesday, April 25, 2012. My Visit With Grandpa's Chinchillas. Last year my Grandpa Herb's chinchillas had three babies. They were so cute! It was fun to visit them because they were so small they would fit right in the palm of your hand. One of them has a really curly tail and he tries to do crazy jumps up the wall. He makes me laugh! All of them are boys. Here is one of the babies at about a week old. I think this is the daddy chinchilla. Getting ready for their dust bath. Everybody in the bath house.

My family and I took a boat tour of Glen Canyon on the Colorado River. The color and shape of the canyon walls were absolutely spectacular, because they were so red and smooth.
