Patience and Evander really enjoyed the bins of bulk nails. I understand. Nails are fun. They sound nice and are a little pokey without hurting. Someone was jostling me. We made the best of the situation and did ...

Mommy can I have a scamwich? Our lives quickly in words and pictures to let others keep in touch. Friday, July 10, 2015. Atlin and the Lake. We arrived in Atlin on Monday morning and tried to contact the people we were looking for. This is a town with many mountains but no cell service. None at all. There are a number of pay phones though. We did find a steam shovel for Collin,. And a pretty bench. By this time it was getting late so we stopped for lunch. Xavier making a game. Mommy can I have a scamwich?: Out of the Park
http://scamwich.blogspot.com/2015/07/out-of-park.html
Mommy can I have a scamwich? Our lives quickly in words and pictures to let others keep in touch. Wednesday, July 01, 2015. Out of the Park. Breakfast first so we didn't have rush. With everyone sufficiently baconed we headed up to the lifts. First we watched the safety video about bears and then we could get on the lift. Patience did not want an open chair, and really I didn't trust Evander so we went in the gondola while the boys went in the chair lift. The boys are just in front of us there . We campe...

http://scamwich.blogspot.com/2015/07/hot-springs.html
Mommy can I have a scamwich? Our lives quickly in words and pictures to let others keep in touch. Friday, July 10, 2015. Rob started the day with fixing the hitch so it was getting late in the morning when we were finished packing up. When we had gotten to the site the night before we had been told that if we wanted to stay a little later to use the hot springs that would be alright so we took advantage of the situation and went for it. Hot springs. Patience is the short one in pink. Look at the technique.

The Party!: Tuesday, May 25
http://thepartytuesday.blogspot.com/2010/05/tuesday-may-25.html
Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Tuesday, May 25. We had a smaller group tonight. It was cold and rainy out, which may have affected attendance. We had around 38 kids and about 22 helpers. It was pizza night, which is always a big hit. Ruth did the story of the ten commandments and the golden calf. The theme idea was Choose God, Choose Life. Kevin, Greg and Caleb are doing great things with the boys group. I peeked in for a bit, when they were having a prayer time and was amazed. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Party!: January 2010
http://thepartytuesday.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 21, 2010. For the past two weeks we've had 21 kids attending. (Maybe more - last week we had three students attend who came really late, so they may not have been signed in). This week we had three new kids that had never attended before. That's also encouraging. Things have been going fairly well. We've had sufficient helpers, and that's what really makes a difference. Thanks so much for everyone who has helped. We honestly couldn't do it without you. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
