Saturday, November 29, 2014. Fall fun with family and with school friends. Yes, yes, yes. I am still trying to catch up! Lesson learned: If your kids will give a little, you should give a little and then they give back. We had a fun time carving pumpkins. Then Alex actually lit his on fire. With gas and a battery. Friday, July 24, 2015. On our final two days of Spring Break, Jay came down to stay with my parents and take my dad to the temple, while Alex and I drove to Bryce Canyon and Escalante. We had never been there and decided since we were two hours away we ought to add to our hiking totals. After this hike, we headed home. Jay also drove back to my parents and we got home with in hours of each other. It was a great week. Our campground. See the snow? After the hike we take a potty break and Alex takes a rest.

Sunday, May 10, 2015. I went to the school one day when they had these inflatable bubbles that they could get inside and play games in. They played red rover, soccer, king of the hill etc. They kids loved just plowing each other over. It was a hot day, so the sweat was flowing. They loved it, but wore themselves out. I didn't think the closets would be investigated and truth be told around here we just take protective measures every time we open a door so we don't think too much about it. :) Next time I will have hard hats available at the door with a sign that says, "open doors at your own risk.". Yesterday I was hit by a sweet teenage driver who thought she was at a four way stop instead of a two way. She pulled out right in front of me and our cars collided. I say, milk it! Wednesday, June 10, 2015. This week I went with friends to Alton Towers. It is about 2 hours away from Manchester near the beautiful Peak District. It is similar to Lagoon on the entertainment scale, but much more scenic surroundings and gorgeous landscape. A real castle and gardens sit in the middle of it. The center of the park is beautiful! Had such a great time with Javiera, Pilar and Thafera! Cute girls on the skyride! This is my favorite ride! Pilar and her cute trash bag! The story of MY life.

Monday, December 12, 2011. I completed most of it in one huge order of twenty something items. Score one for Val! Or so I thought. Well that was an understatement). Every time we pass a parcel delivery truck on the road one of the kids pipes up with, "they are probably heading to our house? Needless to say when I now hear someone say, the more the merrier, I cringe and think next year it might be simpler to fight the crowds and do my shopping in person! I cant believe that happened!
