Sunday, February 12, 2012. Don't throw meds in toilet! You may know that our water systems are being polluted more and more by people dumping medications in the toilet or sink - but what to do instead? Kevin Sweet, our Solid Waste Manager, says that for now, the best and safest option is to wrap the medication in duct tape and throw away with your regular trash.
