The Mayo Family 2014 Road Trip. All of the Crazy Happenings, Silly Stories, and Treasured Moments. Sunday, July 20, 2014. Day 72 - Mt. Rushmore to Badlands South Dakota. Today we traveled 2 hours from the Mount Rushmore area to the Badlands area. We spent some time at the park but given the heat (102 degrees F), we decided to take advantage of the pool at the campground. The really neat thing about the Badlands is that they let you climb all over them. This was lots of fun for the kids. 2007 - Lake Placid.

Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Grace at 16 months. Here's a pic I took of Grace a couple of weeks ago. She is already 16 months old and discovering new things every day. Her latest accomplishment was climbing to the top of her brothers' bunk bed. AHHHHHH! Somebody STOP that lil girl! Grace also enjoys wearing anyone and everyones shoes that are bigger than hers around the house. It seems to be a daily occurrence that someones shoe is missing as we try to get out the door. So, way back in December we went to a Christmas tree farm here in Heidelberg to find our perfect tree for the season.
