My Mercedes 280 SL -85 Project. Tuesday, 28 February 2012. Fixing the MB-Tex back piece. I have finally started to repair the back piece. It's not so worn as the seat so there are less to sew. I have also ordered new "flat head screws" which attaches the back part to the hinges. It looks like they are made out of brass or other soft metal, probably to avoid them from snap of in case of an impact. This is how it looked like, not so worn but need some stitches. New piece of cloth glued on.
