Sunday, April 27, 2008. I have been thinking a lot lately about what drives people in the direction of accomplishment. Is it a hereditary part of nature? Or maybe even both? I have been concerned that Larry will wonder why the hurry on the cleaning and remodeling but like I said, I suppose it is drive for accomplishment coupled with my impatient nature to want to get things done in the quickest time possible so I can move on to another project. Did I just commit to creating more work for myself?

After 15 years of walking into my house through a boring, run of the mill, ugly, metal, front door, I made a decision some time ago to replace that door and install a new better looking door, one that has a little panache. My brother, Keith, and my Dad. Had come to town. They were only here for a few days but Keith offered to help me install the door (we hadn't purchased it yet but we had it picked out and we were ready for the purchase.). What do you think,.

Monday, August 25, 2014. Purple, Plum, or Aubergine? This year has been the year of home projects. I am documenting everyday life a little differently this year via this method.
