Over the last five years, we have been refining our skills in milling tool steels in the 62/65Rc hardness range. As this segment of our business grew, we soon needed the capability to hold positional and profile accuracies of .0002 (5 microns). Ray Stanis, the owner, has forty-two years experience in the trade; the first fifteen as a jig-bore/jig-grinder hand, and the balance involved in CNC programming/machining. The four people who work with Ray started the trade at MBR and were trained in a formal five year apprenticeship.
