Welcome to Room 6 2016. Monday, 20 June 2016. In recent weeks we have been taking part in the area of the curriculum called 'Keeping Ourselves Safe' (KOS). Learning for the children includes understanding our feelings, where we live and who we are, what to do if we get lost and being safe on the Internet. We have had a visit from Constable Gordon to reinforce the message of keeping ourselves safe. He will be back again to visit next week. Trip to the Auckland Museum. Here are some pictures from our day .

Welcome to Room 6 2016. Sunday, 14 August 2016. On Friday morning Room 6, 7 and 8 opened the doors and joined classrooms for Discovery Time. The children were free to move between the classrooms with a focus on working together and trying something different. The children made Dens with material, built various structures; big and small, painted a long city scape and took part in drama activities to retell the story of the 3 Little pigs. Have a look at some of the things the children got up to .
