He is such an amazing boy and I am so proud to be his mama. We had a birthday party for him yesterday and it was a great success. He wanted to do a lego racecar theme, which all came together really well. We had fun brainstorming what to do for it. Here he is with his friends, ready to party! Next was presents, then cake and ice cream! What a fun party Barb!

The weather is getting nicer (slowly but surely) and things are growing, including our grass. Steve was mowing the other night and the kids thought it would be fun to spray him with water. As always, time flies and I forget to post on my blog. It takes twice as long to get out the door because of all the bundling up. If you put a tire gauge in your mouth in the winter when you are checking your tires, it will stick to your tongue (Steve actually learned that one). My kids are doing great lately. Ava started crawling! What a Beautiful Mess.

The biggest challenge is that I can't use my left arm, so taking care of a 2 1/2- year old and 9-month old is nearly impossible. I've had a lot of help which is really nice and necessary. Well, I am almost completely recovered from my surgery- it has been a good journey. I can do just about anything with my arm now and I can almost fully extend and bend my arm.
