MC3 is now C3 and SC3! The Mid Continent Comprehensive Center's (MC3) cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Education will end on March 31, 2013. The University of Oklahoma has been awarded two successor centers, which together include all of MC3's states plus three new states. The Montessori Common Core Consortium is a non-profit organization designed to enable Montessori schools in the United States to share information and professional experiences concerning the effectiveness of Montessori Lessons in meeting the Common Core State Standards for proficiency. The results of the project will be available to the members of the consortium to use as a resource for their schools through the web site.
