McAdams home Sunday and under large oak trees near the home held a celebration of this ancestor and also observed the ninetieth birthday of Hiram McAdams, oldest living member of the family.

Hiram A. McAdams. Jennie Robbins - Alice Rebecca Williamson. Hiram McAdams married Jennie Robbins on February 18, 1874. Jennie was born on October 13, 1853, and she died on October 24, 1886. Hiram and Jennie had six children and 22 grandchildren. Was born on 27 Dec 1874 in Walker County, Texas. She died on 21 Jun 1972 in Walker County and is buried in the McAdams Cemetery. Clara married William Durrow Roberts on 18 Feb 1896, and they had the following children:. Alete Thompson (22 Nov 1905 - Jan 1993).

Hiram A. McAdams. Jennie Robbins - Alice Rebecca Williamson. Reunion - McAdams Chapel. McAdams Bicentennial Chapel (1976 - 2002). The funds to build the original McAdams Bicentennial Chapel were lovingly donated by Kelly Edgar and Ina May Ogletree McAdams, and the chapel was dedicated in 1976 in honor of the McAdams family and of the American Bicentennial. The original chapel was in use until March 12, 2002, when it was completely destroyed by fire. The fire was the result of arson.
