Original Sound Design for Marching Band. Many marching bands and drum corps these days are utilizing what is typically referred to as a "soundscape." This term basically means an ambient background soundtrack to accompany certain parts of a marching band show. Soundscapes work extremely well as pre-show elements, transitions between movements, and as the band exits the field.
