Strength and Conditioning journey. July 18, 2015. A C&J – build to 87.5%. B 5 sets – every 3 min – HSC x 1 – 110KG. 110kg – felt solid. C Clean DL; 2,2,2; rest 3-4 min – 90%, straps okay. 135kg – felt great. D Jerk – every 90 sec – 1 rep, 80% x 8 sets – PERFECT mechanics. 120kg – felt perfect, didn’t come forward, kept feet wider, and just drove under bar fast. Felt like a jerk recovery, pushing under quick. E FS – build to 300# in 5 sets. No problem here. 70, 100, 115, 125, 136kg. Enter your comment here.

Didn’t finish – that 345 for one just took it out of me, still pretty sick at this point so decided it was best to not over tax myself and just call it a day. Strength and Conditioning journey. December 25, 2014. A BS; Build to a 1RM. 315×3, 365×1, 385×1, 405×1. I am finally back to the 4 plate club! Been a hell of a journey to get stronger again after all the shit I went through. This just brought me back to my former aggressive strong as hell self 🙂. B EMOM 10 minutes; BS x2 @ 65% of 1RM – speed focus. 265, definitely felt heavy, guess I was a bit fatigued ha. C EMOM 8 minutes; CGBP x2 @ 65% of 1RM – speed focus. 10 strict ring pull ups. 10 True Push ups.

B Halting clean DL Clean high pull; 1.1 x 5; rest 2-3 min – 75%. 113kg all sets. First 3 sets with straps, last 2 without straps. I actually feel more pop without straps, so from now on, if it’s not above 85%, I’m going strapless. Makes sense, better grip means better posterior chain engagement. E FS @20X1; 1,1,1,1; rest 3-4 min – 77.5%.

November 11, 2015. Ack – one year anniversary of my injury. #suck. I got out of work late (well not that late, but too late to get to OPEX). I should be able to handle my strength training at lovely Globo-city. 🏋🏻. Warm up on bike and rower. Did some glute and hip abduction warm ups. A BS to box; 5×5; Rest 2 minutes. Any minute now the two douchebags doing anything but squats will get off the squat rack). #globogymproblems. Warm up was tough. Need to keep my core solid. 12 minutes @ 90%. 9 BJ 24″.

November 4, 2015. Day 110 minutes @ 80%. 9 kb swing 44# – russian. This goes by fast! 10 minutes @ 80%. 50 meter suitcase carry 1.5 pood per hand – 50 meters one hand, switch hands and 50 more meters. 10 meter bear crawl. Worked on keeping chest up during suitcase carry. Almost 3 full round, just missed last bear crawl. 10 minutes @ 80%. Bike and ring rows felt solid. My elbow was tweaking on push ups.
