This is the beach I grew up going to and it is where my parents and a lot of my extended family live now. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Tonight was the 2nd grade patriotic musical at school. Handley's class, along with the other 9 2nd grade classes, have been practicing for this for a few months. They've been learning songs, learning their lines, and gearing up for the big night. She did great and they all sang their little hearts out. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Beach Trip {Day 3}. We pretty much stuck to the same routine each day. We'd sleep in a bit, get ready, head to the beach for a few hours and then stop by the pool for a little bit before we were ready to take a break from the sun. I was amazed by how well Hudson was doing swimming all week long. He has come such a long way this summer. Here we were hanging by the pool late afternoon (and if you can't tell, he is all into making funny faces for pictures now). Our little HIP chick.

Friday, May 29, 2015. Rhythm Orphan Annie - Dress Rehearsal. We came home from a nice fun relaxing weekend at the lake and the next morning we hit the ground running with our crazy busy week. I can't wait for the show tonight - I know they will do great! Thursday, May 28, 2015. Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake. As usual, we spent our first official weekend of summer at the lake. Friday, July 31, 2015. Gearing Up for Back-to-School. This week Handley also did cheer camp in the evenings. She was trilled to be awarded the spirit stick on the first night of camp. She got to decorate it and put her on stamp on it before taking it back the next day. When I wasn't driving someone to and from camp I was making the rounds trying to find every school supply on each of the lists. That, of course, included multiple trips to multiple stores to find just the right item. Our little HIP chick.

Monday, January 26, 2015. On Saturday we had big plans to have lots of fun. We had tickets to attend the Monster Truck show and the kids were so exited, especially Hudson! After lunchtime we made our way downtown to tailgate with Kathy and Corey's friends before Monster Jam. Monday, August 31, 2015. Friday night Harper got to go to a fun birthday party and sleepover and while she was at that the rest of us made our way to the Walton Varisty home opener. Handley got to go on the field before the game and she was so excited. She loved getting to see Olivia and all of the other high school cheerleaders. Monday, June 29, 2015. Last week we made our way down to the Centennial Olympic Park to meet friends and run through the fountains. It was so hot that day and I did not have my swimsuit on, but the kids loved it and it was the perfect way to cool off. Monday, July 20, 2015. Hudson's Ninja Turtle Birthday Party. On Saturday we celebrated Hudson's birthday with a few of his closest friends. He had been talking about a Ninja Turtle party for months so a Ninja Turtle party is what he got. I was able to score a ton of Ninja Turtle action figures from someone for super cheap, so they doubled as a gift for Hudson and decoration for the table.
