Friday, February 10, 2012. Fast, Simple and Thrifty Leg Warmers for Kids. 250/ pair socks, from hosiery section of Target. If you want to be accurate, measure off the length of sock you want for the warmers, or be like me and follow the stripe. Cut off the foot. Turn inside out, pin up 1/2 inch and sew a seam, stretching the fabric as you go. I also did a zig zag stitch on the foot portion of the sock to have some fun footies.
