Have fun because fun is good. Sunday, September 10, 2006. Ceramics class has started! After taking the summer off, I'm back in the mud. I still remember how to throw a cup and a bowl. So that is good, larger things will come. I am using a stoneware clay called Bristlecone I bought from Mile High ceramics http:/ www.milehiceramics.com/clay.htm. In Denver. I dont know the total money raised for the food bank yet. but we did not sell out of bowls. There are still bowls for sale on a table at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Friday I had the good fortune to be able to visit the center and see them. The gallery features five ceramic artists Frank Boyden, Elaine Coleman, Tom Coleman, Jenny Lind and Don Reitz. Have fun because fun is good. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. See the Conyers report and Yard trimmings. Right now I am reading the article in Mother Jones on the Conyers Report. I believe it is important and being ignored by print press and TV. Painting water color and making small tensile sculpture from twigs of yupon from my yard trimmings. It is the end of summer. My ceramics class starts next week and I'm looking forward to being out of the house for many hours a day making things with clay.

The Police released Tear Gas or Pepper spray to break up a fight in Centennial Park. and then someone shot a gun and fearful crowd of people started running from the park before the fireworks started.
