Updating friends and family as our girls AND Nolan grow so quickly! Sunday, June 29, 2014. I was a bit nervous about our first real outing to the mall and out for lunch but this is what Nolan did the whole time. We ate at Noodles and Co. at the mall and he didn't make a peep. That night we left Nolan with my mom and went to Red Robin for dinner. We were nervous wrecks leaving Nolan for the first time but he slept on my mom while we were gone. It was nice to just be out with the girls. First few weeks home.

Updating friends and family as our girls AND Nolan grow so quickly! Thursday, July 25, 2013. At the Independence Events Center they had a free ice skating workshop we thought we'd give a try. I have to say, Easton on ice skates might have been the cutest thing I ever saw. Emerson took to skating right away. They used these things that made them all look like elderly people using walkers but they worked. Easton went right out onto the ice and immediately fell so it took her a bit longer to warm up.

Paige Blakely was born May 12, exactly 14 weeks after Nolan. I never had cousins this close in age so I'm so excited to watch them grow up together. Ryan went up to Des Moines with the girls to meet her, I stayed in town with Nolan to go to a funeral. :(. Ryan said she's teeny tiny and really, he'd never held a baby that small. And Aunt Courtney meeting Nolan.

We chose my girlfriend Nicole Fisher and Uncle Chris to be his godparents. It was a great day celebrating our sweet guy.
