Mark and I went apple picking this weekend at McDougal Orchards. When we first got there, we had their famous apple cider donuts and apple cider. They were DELICIOUS. Then, we walked to the orchards. It was a spectacular view. There were rows of trees surrounded by beautiful fall leaves. Fall is my favorite time of year in Maine. Our son or daughter.

201 Hanson Ridge Road, Springvale, ME 04083. McDOUGAL • ORCHARDS. Apples and so much more. We are CLOSED for the season. We do NOT do cross county skiing as a business anymore. BUT we still have the grooming equipment and when Jack feels like it, he will groom the trails. So you are welcome to snowshoe or cross country ski and if the trails are not groomed you break trail. Keep in mind there are no rental equipment or restroom facilities. If you are cold you'll have to get in your car to warm up.
