The Way It Is. January 31, 2014. It came and went. Just recording Christmas here on my blog. It came so quickly this year - probably because Thanksgiving was so late. Is it obvious how much we LOVE our new fireplace? It was up and running two days before Christmas and it's been keeping us warm ever since. Our mornings and evenings are spent in the warmth of our family room where the temperature hovers around the 75-degree mark. It's equipped with a blower and heats the entire house!

The Way It Is. April 15, 2014. It was seventy-five degrees in Pennsylvania on my birthday! Randy and I had our first picnic of the year in our special spot right next to a babbling brook late in the afternoon. Fried chicken and all the fixins' along with iced tea and coffee.
