June 14, 2015. We also spent a day at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs. It is literally built on a mountain and has some fantastic animal exhibits. The kids especially like feeding the giraffes! If I remember correctly, the moose was named Boris! We had the opportunity to join family in Mexico in February. October 27, 2014. Yesterday we spent the day being lazy. Jon and the girls carved a few pumpkins while I did some work. They decorated the house for Halloween and spent the day enjoying the sunshine!
