Thursday, November 27, 2014. Blizzard.Sleigh.Sick Mommy. It was freezing cold today, and the snow has been falling since last night. I have the beginning of a cold.fever.sniffles.deep cough. Hazel can't walk through the snow yet, and she hates it blowing in her face. But we still had to walk to Johnny Bright to pick up Hailey and Sarah. Not fun. However, do you know what is even more NOT fun? Being sick, trudging back through the deep snow, pulling over 100lbs of kid weight behind you on a sled.

Friday, October 31, 2014. The Flower Fairy Princess. Thursday, October 16, 2014. Hazel loves it when Daddy plays fast songs on the piano. And being so close to Halloween, Hazel has loved dressing up every opportunity she can. So tonight, when Daddy started playing piano, she conveniently had on her ballet giraffe costume. Saturday, August 30, 2014. We had our family pictures taken in Jasper again this summer. As usual, Peggy and David captured our family just perfectly (even though I managed to capture a few extra pounds this year). I still love the pictures, the nature and most importantly, my amazing family. This goofy little one tugs at my heartstrings. Oh those eyes, and sweet smiles. My gorgeous Hannah. Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Little Girls on the Prairie.the one about the birds. We went to the Strathcona Science Center today to scope out a new photo location for possible photo sessions. To our absolute pleasure, there was a small group of people at the bottom of the trail who were catching and tagging wild birds with little bands around their legs. These people were kind and amazing and invited the kids to come and watch. They even got to release the birds! Little girls on the prairie.

Friday, June 26, 2015. Hailey had her kindergarten celebration today. We were invited into the class where we were treated to a few songs and then we watched Mrs. Worth hand out the kinder memory books to each child. What a special celebration. Hailey was so very happy, until she had her turn to receive her memory book. She became sad, and even cried a bit when she gave her teacher a hug. Me? I was in tears the whole time. I couldn't believe he has more than doubled in weight. He went from being in the 36 percentile. To the 90%. I guess you just forget how fast they grow. He started to grow his hair back in the front so now it looks like he has a buzz cut. Both the nurse and doctor asked if I cut his hair. It's not my fault" is Mekai's.
