It was a quick trip but always so nice to see the lights and spend time with Adam's family outside of schedules. Even as an adult there is just something about that phone call that says, "NO SCHOOL". A surprise day off is fun for all! Yes, we know we do have to make them up. This time around we had 2 days off due to road conditions and bitter cold temperatures. It extended our Christmas vacation by 2 days. ALL is GOOD! Despite the wintry weather, Adam and the kids took part in snow day fun!
