Live in the Dream

Live in the Dream. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. You can never have enough storage (or places to hide things). My daughter had a chest in her room that she no longer wanted, so I decided to give it a makeover and bring it to another part of the house. If you can see potential in an interesting piece, it just takes a few steps to make it happen. Before it was red, this chest was a different color. A minute to prep saves clean up later. Sanding gives the surface some grip and helps remove custom engravings.

Live in the Dream: June 2013

http://www.mcglonehomes.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Live in the Dream. Thursday, June 6, 2013. Here is what the room originally looked like when we saw the house:. Once I found the bed spread, the curtains practically jumped into my shopping cart and demanded to be brought home. Who am I to argue? I liked the graphic pattern and while being a little retro, they had a modern feel. The armoir stands in the corner and has been cleared out for. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Live in the Dream. Thursday, February 20, 2014. I love flowers, who doesn't? You can keep the stems long if you like but you'll get a fuller looking arrangement with short stems. I trimmed all the flowers and from there just started breaking them up into smaller groupings. You can create a monochromatic look or vary the colors. It's easiest if you start with the largest flower and then add in smaller ones from there. The largest is likely to be your focal point. Here are the final arrangements.

Live in the Dream: September 2013

http://www.mcglonehomes.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Live in the Dream. Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Start with a loaf of bread which is cut in half. Spread a little olive oil on the bread and pop it in the oven for a few minutes at 350 degrees. Cover with your favorite deli meat, I used an oven roasted turkey. Next I added some red onions and cheese and popped it back in the oven to melt. Next comes the bacon. An ingredient mo sandwich (or salad for that matter) should go without. Some fresh spinach to counteract the bacon. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Live in the Dream: September 2014

http://www.mcglonehomes.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Live in the Dream. Friday, September 26, 2014. I've had an old frame holding a damaged painting for years. It was passed down from my grandmother and painted by a relative I never knew. Having had it in the family for years, I couldn't just throw it away so I had to come up with something to do with it. I took the painting out and hung the empty frame over my desk. For weeks it taunted me. There, I picked up small S hooks making sure they fit into the holes on my sheet metal. Because the frame isn't very...

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things. Monday, September 10, 2012. JESUS ENDURANCE. STRENGTH. POWER. So, not only am I writing in my blog again, I have also decided to start running again. Yesterday, I got up and went for a run before church. I only ran two miles and it was tough. I'm gonna let you in on a secret of mine. Something, I've never told anyone. Are you ready? I have a mantra that I say when I'm running and I don't think I can manage another step. It sounds silly, I know. Come on, Pandora!
