Tuesday, October 12, 2010. We headed off to Maine for the long holiday weekend and had the best time! The leaves are changing and it's beautiful up there. We stopped in Boston on our way up to see some friends then pushed onwards to Lobster headquarters! We visited Freeport and the LLBean Flagship store, which I might add was fantastic! One day she'll be hitting base hits and playing softball.exciting :). Our pretty little flower :). In front of the big boot at LLBean! You looking at me? Baby in the sky!

Wednesday, April 14, 2010. In my quest to become better at photography, here are some of my recent photos I've taken of the girls. I think I've found a hidden passion. Not only do I enjoy taking the pictures, but I love the creative part of editing too! Hmmmmaybe this could become a little side hobby for me! I think seeing how quickly the girls are growing up has made me realize how I want to capture every stage. If I paid someone to do this for me I'd be spending a fortune! Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Let's Go Fly a Kite! So Saturday we took Mimi to the Capitol to see the Cherry Blossoms. We didn't get a chance to park and walk near them because it seemed everyone else in town decided to do the same thing! So we decided to park and walk along the National Mall. We didn't realize that they were having a kite festival, so as soon as we saw everyone flying kites we had to find one for Riley! Riley, Daddy and Mimi preparing to fly a kite! My "I'm so happy I get to fly a kite" face!

Monday, March 7, 2011. Updates, a New Year and a New Home! A lot has happened in our lives in the past few months! So, I'm sure I've left out other eventful things but for the most part that is what the McGuffie family have been up to for the last 3 months! I've hardly had time to do online banking, much less fill in blog posting. I really really want to be better about this (I know I've said this before! I don't think my knuckles will ever quite heal from all the dry skin. She doesn't let her big sister...

Sunday, May 9, 2010. Mama's Day and a Trip to the Zoo! I woke today to Riley knocking on Mitch's forehead "wake-up Daddy! We all 4 cuddled up in bed for a bit this morning (one of my most favorite things to do). Riley and Mitch surprised me with a homemade plate for mother's day. Riley made it with Susan ("Susu") before we left DC. Susan took her to the Playseum there and they made the plate then. It's so special and I love it! Haha The day was beautiful but extremely windy! Trying to get a better view.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Pumpkin Patches, Corn Mazes and Pumpkin Carving! This weekend we went to the Schratner farm pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin for Riley. It was a really great family farm and their corn maze was AWESOME!
