Sunday, December 15, 2013. Every december we go to dutch square mall to visit santa. last year, hollis was very excited to see him and was yelling, "Tanta! This year, she was more timid and shy around him. we again didn't have much of a line, maybe 2 families in front of us.just enough time for her to keep saying, "no ma'am, i do not want to. i'm not! Monday, April 1, 2013. Living on a pond and having a fisherman daddy equals fun! Daniel has looked forward to hollis' first fishing experience since we found out we were having a baby girl! On Easter Sunday the weather was great and we all hopped in the canoe for some fun. hollis loved it! Saturday, March 23, 2013. 1st Easter egg hunt. Hollis practiced hunting for eggs in our backyard, in her gigi's yard and around her nana's living room over the past week. i was ready to see her in action at the church's Easter egg hunt. i was expecting to have to tell her what to do once we got there, thinking she might be overwhelmed by all the other people.but.she wasn't! Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Relaxing father's day weekend. When we first got to the beach on saturday, we ran into some friends.hollis loved playing with blakely and even asked where she was the 2nd day on the beach. :). Daniel is such a wonderful daddy! He enjoyed playing with hollis in the sand just as much as she did! Heading back to the water to fill up the dora watering can. Hollis loved playing in the surf.she would say "make mud pies, please! Sunday, March 9, 2014. I work there, as im in residency there and I'll probably see you when y'all come in." how amazing is God! We arrived and she got to pick between a ladybug hat and a tinkerbell hat.she chose "tinks" she especially loved that she would be able to keep the hat, too. they had toy car for hollis to play with while we waited for her to be taken into the operating room. once the nurse anesthetist came in and picked her up to carry her back for surgery, it got REAL! We're Back, Loves.

Monday, July 22, 2013. Our little lady turned 2 years old on july 11, 2013. What a fabulous 2 years it had been shared with hollis! She is such a sweet, hilarious, smart and loving little girl. daniel and i continue to love her more and more everyday. She still has her little leg rolls.i could kiss them forever! Our lovely loves the beach! Typically during the blessings or prayers she says, "dear Lord Jesus, thank you for daddy and mommy and the BEEEACH and the WAVES! For pictures from hollis' first year.

Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Our "littles" is one year old! I can't believe how incredibly fast this past year has flown by. we have loved every. single. minute. of this new journey called parenthood with our little miss. what an enjoyable first year it has been. every stage we find ourselves saying, "this is my favorite stage so far." the truth is every stage is awesome! And she truly is! I got emotional yesterday afternoon as we were cleaning and getting some things together for her first birthday party!
