Bits and pieces of memory. Born 22 August 1963. After a couple summers working at a girl's camp in Maine, and graduations in Western New York, in 1986 I strapped my sleeping bag to my 1976 Kawasaki 400 I'd bought for $300, and drove to The Rustler Lodge. In Alta, Utah to find work. I toured the West by motorcycle, worked for American Express in the San Francisco Bay area, then went to Europe. I packed Ikea products at a factory in Sweden, worked as a ski guide in the Tyrol. I worked on the JET Programme.

Thursday, July 30, 2015. We set out for our maiden voyage in our camper to a nearby state park. We wanted to stay close enough that if something went wrong or we forgot something, we could easily take care of it. We got everything, and I mean everything, packed and loaded. We got all hooked up and off we went! We got all set up and then started playing Frisbee and riding bikes. Mom and dad came over to check out our new home away from home. It was hot, so after they left we went to the lake to cool off.
