Thursday, August 5, 2010. On July 25th and 26th, Sahaan, the kids and myself went on our first adventure to Wild Life Safari. We have been trying to do things different each year and last summer was time spent at the beach. This year it is in Southern and Central Oregon. Sunday, October 10, 2010. We were able to end our summer with a fun little vacation up to Seattle to see Micah, Becky and little Val before the kids had to head off to school. We had a wonderful time and the kids had alot of fun. Kai, Kolbie, Valerie and Sadiyah. Kolbie had her hair braided the week before the trip, so I thought I would share with you all, Kolbie's first corn rows. :). Kai getting more foam thrown on him! After a while the clothes had to come off. So on went the feeding of the ducks....

Monday, June 21, 2010. Day Trip to Bonneville Dam. On June 12, 2010 mom and dad came up from Salem and we took the kids to Bonneville Dam. It was free fishing day for kids under the age of 12 and the event was held by the Department of Fish and Wildlife, which is dad's stomping grounds. He knew MANY of the people volunteering to help at the event. When you walked around you could see the channels in which the fish had to go through to get through to the river. One Day I'll Fly Away. Saturday, January 07, 2012. Year-End Letter is BACK! It’s been two years since I wrote a year-end letter. I suppose that is because the ends of 2009 and 2010 were really hard. And it’s hard to sit and reflect on the entire year when you’re blinded by serious tragedies or depression. 2011 hasn’t been that bad, in comparison. So I feel like maybe I can start being myself again in the year-end-letter-writing aspect. Many, many fun and exciting things happened in 2011. It was so hard.
