Saturday, July 7, 2012. Nothing like the Beach. We spent a long weekend at the beach after the 4th and had the best time! The boys love going down there so much! We missed CeCe (she was in Greensboro with the new baby) but had fun hanging out with Nana and Baba. Nana has all her grandkids (SIX GRANDSONS NOW! We kicked off New Year’s Day with a hike at a local greenway with our good friends, the Bryans. The kids loved running across the swinging bridge and viewing the waterfall! We enjoyed dinner with some friends and participated in the Ballantyne Fun Run. The girls ran the entire mile with us! They did so great! We shared that weekend with Trent’s 41. Birthday and Mother’s Day, so that made it even more special. Mama, police can drive wherever they want off the road right? You know that God is boss.

We attended some birthday parties, I had a work trip to Oconee for a large, virtual meeting I’ve been planning for the past six months, and Brayden had a field trip to the Nature Museum.
