CSA Week 3 w/ Recipe! Swiss Chard, Snap Peas, and Meat Stir-fry. This recipe used our swiss chard, snap peas, and onions! So, it was a 3 for 1 deal at dinner. Posted by The McLaughlin Family. New Every Morning: October 2008

http://www.mclaughlin4.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

I can hardly believe it's October first! I'm sure lots of people are feeling the same way. What does Fall hold for you this year? What is your favorite event in Fall? Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I'm looking forward to it with a little excitement actually. I'm awaiting cooler days, Daniel having more time at home, Fall colors on the trees, Christmas, and hopefully some traveling. Here's to the beginning of the end of the year! May it be filled with abundant blessings. Because of the LORD's g...

New Every Morning: February 2009

http://www.mclaughlin4.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Things I've considered giving up for the season of Lent. Junk food, more specifically only eating whole foods, drinking only herbal tea and water. Spending extra money, only spending on food, passing on any item that is a "want". Saying anything even remotely negative about my hubby, who really, truly is quite wonderful . Running, I don't think that one counts though. Not meal planning, meaning I would diligently meal plan for the next 4o days. What are your thoughts? Posted by The McLaughlin Family.

New Every Morning: Strawberries!

http://www.mclaughlin4.blogspot.com/2011/06/strawberries.html

Well, our family made it out to pick strawberries this past Saturday morning! It was a great time for the kids to play outside and ride in the wagon to the strawberry field. They helped pick some but ate lots and lots. How can you tell your kids they can't have anymore strawberries. I mean, really, doesn't that go against everything I tell them about eating good foods? All of the berries from our farm are free of pesticides and chemical free. Check out the gorgeous view from the farm too! CSA Week 2 2011.

The Nelsons: Visiting Uncle Jason

http://danelsons.blogspot.com/2011/12/visiting-uncle-jason.html

Monday, December 26, 2011. We spent Christmas Day with my (Mindi's) family in MN. Christmas Day was very memorable as well! It was the first Christmas in almost 30 years that I celebrated Christmas with my Mom and Dad together! My Dad did not have plans for Christmas and so Mom invited him to join us. Everyone got a long well and had a great time! I (Mindi) was truly considering bringing home the dog Lucy is holding, but I realized that this may not be the year for any extra responsibilities! Do not be a...

Friday, November 25, 2011. Getting ready for Christmas! This is Lucy's 3rd year of putting the star on the tree. She remembered and asked to do it! Lucy and Noah decorated most of the tree themselves. Joel pointed out that all the decorations were along the bottom. I said, "that is okay.I will fix it after they are in bed! For those of you with 3 or more children: Please tell me how to get everyone to look and smile! Swede is discovering his legs and kicking the ball like crazy! Posted by The Nelsons.

The Nelsons: May 2011

http://danelsons.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. We looked and looked to decide what we wanted to buy the kids for the back yard this summer. We have two playgrounds 1-2 blocks from our house so, we did not want to get a swing set. I think the kids are too young for a trampoline. After visiting friends and jumping in their jump house we decided to buy one too! It blows up in about 20 seconds! In the winter we can set it up in the basement! When it is too windy outside I just set it up in the garage. The kids love it! Lucy has rea...

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Our 3rd Profile Picture. If you look in the middle right by our faces you can see the moon. That made me love this picture even more. We usually take the picture in the state the baby is born in but, Colorado Springs just does not have the lit up areas of our previous states. 7/5. Posted by The Nelsons. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. His little legs are kicking all the time! He loves to be moving. I don't mind so much because bouncing him has helped the appearance of my ginormous pipes! This picture is not out of focus it is Swede jumping away and his tongue made it out again! Posted by The Nelsons. Wednesday, December 28, 2011. My Dad did...
