Team Canada debaters profiled on CBC’s The Current. March 28, 2015. Team Canada debaters were recently profiled on CBC Radio One as part of The Current teen special “Introducing Generation Z” . The episode aired across Canada on March 11th, 2015. Team members in Vancouver and Toronto engaged in an impromptu online debate moderated by host Anna Maria Tremonti. Senior National Championships Invitation. March 8, 2015. The University of Toronto Schools on behalf of the Ontario Student Debating Union is proud to be hosting the 2015 Senior National Debate Championships. The tournament will take place on the weekend of April 24th-26th, with April 23rd and 27th as optional travel days. The 2014 National Student Debating Seminar took place from October 1st 6th in St. John, New Brunswick. The CSDF was excited to work with Debate New Brunswick to celebrate the theme of Canada’s Confederation, Then and Now. The National Seminar each year together students from all around the country for a unique experience that blends debate education and cultural exchange. Scavenger hunt tour of Stone Hammer Geo Park. Speakers and a tour of CFB Gagetown. Mock parliament in the New Brunswick Legislature.
