Tuesday, March 3, 2009. OUR BABY GIRL TURNS 1! I don't know many fathers out there who would look forward to raising three girls in today's world, but with God's guidance we will make it through. Thursday, March 12, 2009. This past weekend I took the girls to a birthday party for "M" that was turning 4. The party was at a cheer academy. Even Brooke loved the jumps as you can tell from the pics. We had a blast and really enjoyed catching up with sunday school friends since we have been involved in other areas of the church. Kirsten (4), Brooke (1), and Shelby (6). Look at those limber legs. Kirsten loves being a big sister! Our friend Kassidy was a big help entertaining Brooke. Life as a Ward.

I knew that it was just a matter of time. We were at Nana and Pop's.Unattended for just a few minutes.and McKinley cuts her hair! As Momma said, "It could have been much worse." She cut herself some bangs. She said her hair was in her face! Well, thank you, Mrs. Kelly for making a hair disaster turn out to be, cute. Oh, I love it!

I know that I should expect the time with him as an infant to fly by (I have been through it two other times) but I am so sad that he is growing so fast! Do you remember that song by Martina Mcbride "When God fearing women get the blues? Well, I've been singing it alot this week! I think it makes my husband a little nervous! Playing in the Rain.

You know the line in the movie Hope Floats, "Childhood is what you spend the rest of your life trying to overcome! Well, I fear my children might agree! Over the last week and a half we have had one incident after the other. First, Scott was playing with Avery and flipping her around when.well, He DROPS her! Yes, right on her head! And my cousin Spring! I, of course, get about five calls right on the spot!

Just another day in Paradise. Scott, Candiss, Andrew, Avery, and Elijah. Sunday, February 22, 2009. You know those times when your children do or say something that is wrong but it's so funny and you have to somehow stop yourself from laughing? Well that happened this week! Andrew goes through these "phases" where he will test me and Scott until he is sure that we mean what we say. This week has been one of those times! Monday, March 30, 2009. Now on to the part where I lost my mind. Shelby wanted to have a spend the night party for her birthday. We had a party like this last year and it went great. We had six girls spend the night and it was just right. However, this year Shelby wanted to invite everbody in her afterschool class at Ridgecrest. The spend the night party turned into 11 girls!
