After our traditional breakfast of bagels and lox, we put the turkey that Stephanie had brined in the oven and hung around the house all day, played with our presents, watched movies and played video games. Katie went and got her friend Jeff and after Christmas dinner we played "Apples to Apples" which is a VERY fun game. I highly recommend it. And visited a lot. The painter isn't finished painting yet, but it looks fantastic, even though it was supposed to be done before tomorrow (but at least it's not Gustavo this time). It's on the second floor with no elevators. What were thinking? At least we won't get flooded from their shower anymore. Tomorrow he is going to get a steroid shot so he can be all amped up to go to New York.

Thursday, June 17, 2010. We've been taking advantage of the nice weather to go to the park! Ellie is going through a faze where she's a little afraid of the swings, but loves the slides and climbing the stairs. She had her first skinned knees when I took both kids to the park solo to feed the ducks and for Ellie to play on the playground. She fell off a bench right into some rocks. She was a trooper though and after a couple of animal crackers all was well. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. The baby love continues.
