LookingforMrGreen: July 2007

Saturday, July 21, 2007. We design and build performance spaces, it's a very boutique operation," said the Queens native I sat next to on the first leg of my trip. Turns out they'd started a job in Arkansas - a megachurch, of course, it's Arkansas - and they'd just started their own company in the state. Do you know where Wacheetah is? She asked. That was the name of her new company - Wacheetah Production Services. "How do you spell it? I asked. "O-U-A-C-H-I-T-A". Good luck with that. Snaring the center-...

LookingforMrGreen: December 2006
http://lookingformrgreen.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 02, 2006. Secrets of the Dead. One of my friends from Boston College was killed in an auto accident three months back. He was home from Newton, Mass., and was killed with his parents on the way from the Olive Garden. Only his little brother, who wasn't with them, survived. Except that he wasn't. So I'm left to imagine Kevin living this lie. To everyone. For more than 12 years. What the hell was he doing every day? And I thought I was desperate and ashamed. Posted by GrebeD at 11:05 AM.

LookingforMrGreen: February 2007
http://lookingformrgreen.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 26, 2007. Loss, fear and wonder. Today I'm lost. Could barely find the right key for the office door. Left for work with my bag, but forgot to put anything in it. His name is Eddie. And it seems Eddie has rediscovered the joy of crack. I've never been quite sure what that is, being a common drunk myself. Given what crack's done for him - a Naval Academy graduate who found himself sweeping up dead mice. In Queens - there's one question I have to ask myself. I hope he does come back. All T...
