Saturday, June 30, 2012. We are here in Vegas! We met with our Realtor to look at homes. We have looked at a lot of places but have not loved any thing yet. I think this is going to be harder then we thought. We stayed at my Cousin Todd's house. His house is amazing. The pool is gorgeous and the kids didn't want to leave. Saturday, November 24, 2012. A year ago today. It's so hard to believe that it has only been a year since we left Utah! We are all beyond sick of this apartment. The only thing that is keeping me going is knowing Christmas is right around the corner. I am soooo excited this year. We have some really fun things planned and I just know Santa is going to pull through again this year. So here's to me. I have survived this last year and actually have really enjoyed (most of) it! Tuesday, November 6, 2012. I'm taking a moment to brag. But how could I not. I'm just so proud. When she got out of the pool after practice she told me she was scared when the coach told her to stay in the water. She thought she was in trouble until he explained what he wanted her to do.poor girl was petrified but it turned out good. Good job Shay. We are so proud of you and we LOVE watching you swim! Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Brittons new school mascot is the gecko. He is the grand gecko of the month for being helpful and responsible. He was congratulated over the intercom and asked to go to the office for a prize. He got a pencil, key chain and a gift certificate to freedom station. Britton we are so proud of you. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. I kept her home from school on Monday because she still hadn't eaten and didn't want to eat any breakfast. Around afternoon she was able to eat some crackers and drink some sprite. She started getting some of her energy back and wanted to help me iron. Go for it I said. Monday, August 27, 2012. 1st day of school. The first day of school is always so stressful. I hate it. Britton always does so well. He is so brave! Shayna on the other hand breaks my heart. I went in her room to wake her up and she was in there crying. She was so nervous about starting school in a new city with no friends. But by the time we got to the school she did great. Monday, July 30, 2012. Well moving into these apartments has been a HUGE pain. We left Prescott Valley around 3 on Saturday, Thank you so much James and David for your help, and on our way here we called the office to let them know that we were on our way. They were closed! It was FABULOUS to be clean! So annoying, but we were excited that we could move in and not bug my Cousins for another night. Monday, April 30, 2012. Shayna was in desperate need of a haircut. Her ends were pretty bad and after we went swimming yesterday her hair turned green.again. Oh the things you go through with such blond hair. So today we got it cut! She even wanted to go shorter but I told her to wait to see how she likes this length.
