Sunshine Lane: Chicago
http://stevemccoy.blogspot.com/2005/03/chicago.html
Life, From Our Perspective. Saturday, March 05, 2005. Molly and I braved downtown Chicago for the first time since we were dating. We ate at P.F. Chang's China Bistro, which is one of the best places I have ever eaten. I first ate there in Scottsdale, AZ. The food was phenominal. Lettuce wraps, Mongolian Beef and Sprouts, Orange Peel Shrimp. Great stuff. Sorry about the fuzziness, but it was too chilly to hold the camera steady. Molly kept saying with her teeth chattering, "Chicago, the Windy City! Talk ...

Life, From Our Perspective. Tuesday, February 15, 2005. From the camera of my Uncle Mike. Overlooking a very difficult par 3 into the wind and off the side of a mountain. My dad is on the left. Great shot of Doug (left), me, and my dad in front of a great golf hole. You can tell from my wet shoulders that it had been raining, and just after this it started raining steadily until we finally gave up and flew home. Posted by Steve McCoy @ 10:24 AM. Life, From Our Perspective. Sunday, October 24, 2004. Isaac and Kyle and Our Kids. It was good to have our good friends in town this weekend. Isaac and Kyle came in Friday afternoon and left Sunday afternoon. The kids cried when they left. Hey, these aren't my parents! It was our joy to have them here. We got a babysitter and went out to a movie on Friday night, and then finished it off our evening with a Cherry Coke and conversation at The Public House where our friend Michelle works. Glad you came guys!

Life, From Our Perspective. Saturday, August 28, 2004. Sarah asks, "What do man-eating sharks eat when there are no men in the ocean? Posted by Steve McCoy @ 1:26 PM. Monday, August 23, 2004. I know there is a segment of the homeschooling community who thinks that everyone should homeschool or they are sinning. I'm not with them. But even before our first official day of homeschooling our two oldest, we have noticed the remarkable difference that having a homeschooling mentality can have. Our Sonlight cu...

Sunshine Lane: December 2004
http://stevemccoy.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Life, From Our Perspective. Sunday, December 19, 2004. We have created this online Christmas card for all those who have received our regular mail Christmas card. We are enduring bitter cold up here in Woodstock, Illinois. As I write this the temperature is about 10 degrees with a wind chill of well below zero. Do you feel our pain? We have already had two snowfalls of 3-5 inches, and a few other dustings. It should be a cold and snowy winter, but the sleds are fired up and ready to go. Yes, you should h...

Life, From Our Perspective. Monday, February 28, 2005. Danny is 2 now, as of the 24th of February. It's nice to have at least one person in the family with a birthday that doesn't come in autumn. He received a Thomas engine, a Thomas shirt, and a police car. Fun for a 2 year old boy. After two years, we are really in love with this little kid. He's cute and cuddly and fun. Danny's happy to be 2 years old. He wasn't so happy to turn 1. Thomas stops at our house a lot with three boys around. Posted by Stev...

Sunshine Lane: Digging Out
http://stevemccoy.blogspot.com/2005/01/digging-out.html
Life, From Our Perspective. Thursday, January 06, 2005. Have you ever heard someone say they could tell a storm was coming because of the way their "trick knee" felt? Well, I know a snow storm came through Chicago because of my aching back. I've never in my life experienced this much digging out. We've seen much more snow while living in Colorado, but we didn't have a driveway then! Posted by Steve McCoy @ 1:05 PM. This comment has been removed by a blog administrator. Top 5 Pics of Coolness.

Sunshine Lane: Sarah and Bethany
http://stevemccoy.blogspot.com/2005/03/sarah-and-bethany.html
Life, From Our Perspective. Sunday, March 06, 2005. I took a couple of youth from our church and Sarah to see Bethany Dillon. At a local Borders. It was completely packed. Hard to even see her, but she is a talented singer and guitarist at only 15 (maybe 16) years old. It was fun. Posted by Steve McCoy @ 5:51 PM. Top 5 Pics of Coolness.
