McQueeney Hall was built in 1914. It was the first general store in McQueeney, Texas, started by Ed Wuest. The general store originally sold clothes, groceries, seed, feed and other supplies to the small community. In 2004, the general store was completely renovated and converted into McQueeney Hall, a true Texas honky-tonk ballroom to serve as a live music venue and private party facility. We host a public dance on the first Friday of every month. The hall opens at 7 pm. There is a cover charge.

We host a public dance and social on the first Friday of every month. The doors open at 7 pm A band plays from 8 pm until 11 pm Everyone is welcome to put on their best dance outfits and come on in. We offer a relaxed atmosphere where you can dance, just sit and listen to the music, or visit with friends and neighbors. No alcoholic beverages are sold at the hall, but you can bring your own. We do sell soft drinks, bottled water, and set-ups (ice, cups, stir sticks) for your convenience.

Solid wood flooring made from an old high school gymnasium. Two antique chandeliers from the Jersey Lilly at the old Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, TX. Hall lighting is on dimmers to create the perfect ambiance. Elegant bathrooms with granite countertops. Climate controlled (air conditioning and heating).
