Monday, July 9, 2012. My silly billy girl is 8 months now! Eats pineapple, mango, blueberries and green beans. Throws her head backwards after she takes a bite. Plays a new spitting game too after she takes a bite. Tried chocolate ice cream. I think we'll be buying a lot more ice cream than we already do. Also tried daddy's soda. Went from side sleeping to tummy sleeping. She loves to sleep on her stomach! Sometimes it's the only way she'll fall asleep. Says "dada" and "baba". Uh, what about "mama"?

CLICK HERE FOR BLOGGER TEMPLATES. The next afternoon, we had a Halloween party at Papa and Grandma Kirkendall's house with all the fam. They went to a lot of work to put together a fun time. The kids did some cookie-decorating, bobbed for apples, caught doughnuts on a string, did a cupcake walk and a pinata. And of course we all enjoyed some yummy Halloween-themed food! For the holidays, we stuck around home and had a great time with KR's. Family. This was the best picture I could get of Bailey with all her cousins. Momma and Bailey in their matching PJs. Bailey in her Christmas dress. For New Years, we joined Brandon, Nycole. KR loves his new skis. The boys relaxing after a long hard day on the slopes!

Of course I would welcome a visit from her anytime, but I had an especially busy week and more activities and commitments going on than usual and could really use her help since KR was still gone. Friday, August 5, 2011. It only took a year to get me to do it, but at least I did it.right? And I loved it! I'll be honest and say it is definitely not my favorite of books, but it was well worth the read. I can't wait to dive right in to the next two books and see where this story goes. I need to hurry and get to the store so I can start reading. I forget how good it feels to read a good book. I need to make a better habit of it. And now, I wait for the movie! It should be good! Sunday, September 7, 2014. We just did a 10 mile "Relay for Africa" with our friends Jon and Jennifer- 4 legs of 2.5 miles each. It was a fun atmosphere with all the teams and baton passing-haven't done a relay since I was in high school! We finished well under our goal time, especially considering that mile 2 was basically uphill the whole way. Yikes! Fun way to spend an afternoon with friends. Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Josie is officially a preschooler! On calling it a goose:).

Monday, June 1, 2015. First stop, of course, was the beach. Today we hit Humiston Beach and the kids were thrilled. These girls have fun playing with each other in the ocean, which is nice to see because as they get older, sometimes their interests and ages seem to be a big gap. Makes a momma happy to see them doing something together. They got some instruction from Babbo on how to ride a wave in. :). Love this daddy-daughter pic. Handstands on the beach:. Saturday, July 5, 2014. Swimming lessons have been in full swing these last two weeks and the kids have made a ton of progress in the pool. Abby had a huge milestone- she conquered her fear of jumping into the deep end and even jumped off the diving board on the last day! She worked hard on learning to dive. Friday, July 4, 2014.
