Tuesday, 4 November 2014. Room 10 Master Chefs! The Tuakana students in room 10 have been busy creating culinary delights every Friday! It starts with research and a discussion around recipes that they would like to create. The students vote for their favourite recipe and then they write up a shopping list. Our theme this year is sea creatures so expect to see lots of fish, sea horses, crabs, jelly fish and the odd octopus or two! Roaming in Room 1. Wednesday, 16 March 2016. Term 1 so far. In Maths and Art, we created a caterpillar and numbered each of its segments. We had fun using balloons to print the round shapes. The boys wondered how long our classroom is. So together we made a line of cubes from one side to the other. We then measured it with metre rulers. We found out that out classroom is nearly 7 meters long. We had a powhiri; our host school welcomed us, prayed for us and. We sang some songs. It was his very first day at.
