Stu Cycling: MADE YOU LOOK
http://biker1stu.blogspot.com/2009/02/made-you-look.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2009. I am have started to really think about bike racing. IT'S ON. I will write soon I promise I have a few big layovers on the way down and the way back. I ate a California and a chicken burrito from the Betos after that ride too! Man up and order the chile-relleno-burrito next time you're there. I don't know what good it does for post-ride wonky-ness, but I do know it puts a smile on your face. Come back to Mesa. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Stu Cycling: I'm Back
http://biker1stu.blogspot.com/2009/01/im-back.html
Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Okay I'm back, back to the blog, back on the bike and back with Ami Rothberg! My Dad is also back home living a pretty normal live after his bike wreck. He can walk and pretty much do everything on his own. He was super dedicated at the rehab center which really made a difference for sure. I played Wii bowling with him on Christmas day. My plan is to start hitting up those dump loops and getting my self back in shape. If you are feeling like a dump loop let me kn...

Goin' Off the Grid: August 2008
http://goinoffthegrid.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. ATTACK of the Lady Bugs - AAAHH. Well it's a rainy, windy day up here. Seems like our summer was very short and fall is already setting in so we are attempting to kick our renovations into high gear and get everything taken care of before the first snow hits the ground. I've heard some people predict it could be as early as the second week of September ( please no! Or as late as December ( this is what I'm voting for, if my vote counts. No worries though; it's a good thing!

Goin' Off the Grid: January 2009

Monday, January 26, 2009. MONEY SAVER - Using stuff in your kitchen to clean with. And with no signs of slowing down, I needed to start exploring cheaper and more environmentally friendly cleaning supplies. A big one that I've discovered is vinegar. Yes, vinegar, the stuff that helps make cucumbers into pickles also helps degrease your oven and remove static from your laundry. Not only is it cheap but it does just about anything! Another kitchen item that's really useful is Apple Cider Vinegar. When I wa...

Goin' Off the Grid: Before and After Pictures - the first of many
http://goinoffthegrid.blogspot.com/2009/01/before-and-after-pictures-first-of-many.html
Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Before and After Pictures - the first of many. As you know we've been working diligently at getting the house "winterized" and then all of a sudden, winter was upon us. So now we've just been working, literally, through snow, ice, sleet, fog and whatever other intense weather an Idaho winter has to offer. The locals weren't kidding when they all smiled at me teasing, "you haven't experience a winter here yet have you? Of ice to get home from work everyday. PEACE Out for now,.

Goin' Off the Grid: Keep 'er Cool
http://goinoffthegrid.blogspot.com/2009/07/keep-er-cool.html
Monday, July 13, 2009. I left on business for about a month in mid-June; at the time we were still wearing sweaters in the evening, and I, with my extreme and new-found distaste for the cold, was still rocking wool socks while hiking! We’d managed to avoid lighting a fire since about mid-April since the house heats up so much during the day but I was worried that I would get back to early on-set of winter given how short our spring and complete lack of summer had been. We’ve also considered trying ...

Stu Cycling: Everything is Bigger in Texas
http://biker1stu.blogspot.com/2009/02/everything-is-bigger-in-texas.html
Thursday, February 19, 2009. Everything is Bigger in Texas. Friday Ami and myself went on our very first road ride together, and we did a 60 mile ride which was pretty awesome. Ami is a stud! The weather was great I was rocking just shorts and a jersey and loving the sun. I got my lines back which is good because with out them I felt pretty naked. We went on the Texas A&M group ride that leaves from campus and goes o. My neck and face got a little to much sun maybe! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
